It will also provide an opportunity to get to know members of other societies dealing with similar challenges, to share ideas, experiences, problems and solutions.
Workshop topics will include membership growth, improving teamwork between lay and professional leaders, creating a spirit in our societies where we treat each other in accord with our ethical ideals, innovative adult programs, and using "Great Expectations", a manual containing ideas and materials from Societies around the Movement, which has just been converted to a computer accessible format.
Partial travel subsidies will be provided for up to two members per society for groups more than 300 miles from N. Y. Cost will be $75 per person.
A more detailed announcement and registration form is available from your Society's President, Leader, or Membership Chair. For information contact the AEU Office at office@aeu.org or Hank Gassner at kargas@clark.net.
Please save the dates and plan to attend. Please also encourage those members of your society who you expect to be the leaders for your future development to attend. As we work together to share experiences and skills, we can help each other to make our Societies more attractive and effective. .
